Taylor Gugliuzza Named All-American Honorable Mention

The WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaches Association) released its NCAA Division II end-of-season awards, including All-Americans, on Thursday (March 20). (New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln-Way West) was named to the Honorable Mentions list.
The WBCA NCAA Division II Coach of the Year, Player of the Year, and Coaches' All-America team are selected by the WBCA NCAA Division II Awards Committee from coaches and student-athletes nominated by WBCA member coaches.
Coming off of a GLVC Player of the Year season, Gugliuzza led the Flyers to a GLVC regular season championship and a NCAA DII National Tournament appearance. Gugliuzza was named All-GLVC First Team for her efforts this season which included 16.4 PPG, 4.5 RPG and 2.4 APG all on 47% shooting from the field, 36% from beyond the arc and 80% from the line. She recorded a career-high this past season in a conference matchup with Rockhurst, where she scored 34 points.

The All-American Honorable Mention list includes 30 athletes from across the country.
