COLLEGE OF DUPAGE 2+2 PROGRAM IN SOCIAL WORK
College of DuPage students can seamlessly transfer to ΊΓΙ«ΟΘΙϊ after earning their associate’s degree. Students will earn the Associate of Applied Science in Human Services at COD and then transfer to ΊΓΙ«ΟΘΙϊ to complete the Bachelor of Arts in Social Work with the option to complete the MSW in one additional year. ΊΓΙ«ΟΘΙϊ BA and MSW programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education’s Commission on Accreditation (CSWE).
Students at COD may transfer up to 65 credit hours. Students will then transfer to ΊΓΙ«ΟΘΙϊ University to complete their remaining two years, 63 credit hours at the Romeoville campus. If a student would like to earn their MSW, they can do so in one additional year.
Tuition
COD courses are taught at COD tuition rates, while the remaining ΊΓΙ«ΟΘΙϊ courses are completed and paid based on ΊΓΙ«ΟΘΙϊ tuition rates.
WHO CAN ENROLL?
- Students who are enrolled in or have completed the Associate of Applied Science in Human Services as outlined in the COD/ΊΓΙ«ΟΘΙϊ 2+2 agreement.
- Students completing the Associate of Applied Science degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 (on a 4.0 scale).
- New students to COD who indicate their intent to enter the partnership program with ΊΓΙ«ΟΘΙϊ. Students can apply for dual enrollment to COD and ΊΓΙ«ΟΘΙϊ.
